CFIA Rennes

Over 25 years serving the food industry

Since its creation in 1997, the CFIA Rennes has established itself as Europe's must-attend event for food industry professionals. Conceived from the outset as a forum for exchanges between suppliers and manufacturers, it has grown alongside France's leading industry to become a European benchmark.

Constant progress

For over 25 years, the CFIA Rennes has kept pace with the food industry. Each edition has marked a new stage: more exhibitors, more visitors, new areas, new themes... Always with the same objective: to offer professionals a lively platform where innovation, meetings and concrete solutions come together.

1997 – Birth of the CFIA

First edition in Rennes: 360 exhibitors on 10,000 m² around the ‘Equipment & Processes’ sector.

The Innovation Awards were also launched, with 26 participants and already a resounding success.

2000 – Packaging is born

Creation of the Packaging sector, to complement the initial offering.

2004 – Focus on ingredients

Arrival of the Ingredients & PAI sector: the CFIA now offers 3 major sectors to cover the entire agri-food chain.

2005 – First international opening

Organisation of the 1st CFIA Morocco, proof of the growing appeal of the concept.

2008 – Sustained growth

The show passes the 900 exhibitor mark, confirming its position as a benchmark event.

2015 – 1,300 exhibitors

The CFIA occupies 8 halls and continues to attract more and more food industry professionals.

2021 – A new hall

An additional hall brings the total exhibition area to 40,000 m².

2022 – CFIA Toulouse is born

1st joint event with SEPEM: 600 exhibitors and 5,782 visitors for a promising launch.

2024 – Toulouse goes from strength to strength

2nd edition with SEPEM: 700 exhibitors on 20,000 m², spectacular growth.

2025 – Rennes breaks all records

The CFIA brings together 3 major sectors spread over 12 halls, with more than 1,700 exhibitors: a historic edition.
